ASSESSMENT

To properly prepare for Visual Data Center deployment, a thorough site assessment must be completed. This Assessment aims to collect all information required to perform a Visual Data Center implementation which meets the technical and business requirements defined by our customers. The following is a sampling of the topics covered during a standard Assessment Phase of our projects:

• Number and locations of sites to be monitored with the application
  
• Types of devices to be deployed with the interface
  
• Number of devices, number of data elements and polling interval for devices in the deployment
  
• Access control requirements for users of the software
  
• High Availability requirements for the application
  
• Backup & Recovery requirements for the application
